a love letter to the personal website
a love letter to the personal website
I genuinely think my website has become one of my most prized possessions. I love my website so much. It’s my digital home.
It’s my creative sandbox where I can indefinitely expand the scope. New favorite color? You bet I’ll change the theme again and again. Got a new idea for a page? Boom, added to the todo list. There are so many things you can do on your personal website.
I think almost everyone in my circle has heard me talk about my website, or why they should have one, atleast once. It’s one of the things I always mention when talking about social media and our digital lives, as it’s something I think more people should have as their anchor on the web. Then you could also follow the POSSE-principle, so the people not using walled gardens can see what you’re up to. That way everybody’s free (to write websites) to see your content on their preferred site/platform.
This post ended up being more of a love letter to hte personal website, but I could go on and on about things I love seeing in personal webspaces, but I think I’ll end this messy post here lol.
Have a Fucking Website (mic drop).
